It is almost impossible to not find someone on Instagram. With 500 million daily users, Instagram now launched, ‘Instagram For Business‘ with its latest update.
You might think it is absolutely unnecessary for you because you don’t have a ‘business’ but Hold On!
This feature will actually make your profile exclusive and will help you keep a check on your audience. (I know you do care about the likes!)
The Instagram Business Profile allows you to add Contact Information and Address directly to your Instagram profile. This makes it easier for your audience to get in touch with you directly from the app. This new feature also gives you an overview of the insights.
How to Setup a Business Profile
To get started,
~Login to your Instagram Account.
~Visit your Profile.
~Tap the Gear Icon (settings) on the top right to access your Profile Settings.
~Tap ‘Switch to Business Profile’.
~Tap Continue as to Connect your Facebook Account.
You can connect one Facebook Page that you are admin of. All your posts on Instagram that you want to post on Facebook as well, will get posted on that Facebook Page.
~All the information will be imported from your Facebook Page, if you chose to alter, you can.
Once your profile is setup, your audience will be able to connect to you directly from your profile without leaving the app.
You can edit the information anytime by the same process as the setup.
The Insights will help you keep a track on the performance of your posts. You can see the Impressions, Reach, and Engagement of each post along with the Impression of the Week, your Top Post and a small histogram on the Number of Followers.
On tapping the Histogram further, you get a gender demographic, age group, and location. You can get actionable information about which posts perform best, which days of the week and times are best to post and the demographic breakdown of your followers. You can also promote any posts you’ve shared, and include a button like Learn More, to reach new customers in your target audience.
